VASIS does not determine truth or deception and is not a lie detector. It functions as an investigative support tool, providing stress-related indicators that must be interpreted by qualified professionals within investigative context.
Built on established vagal-response research and supported by recognized testing protocols, VASIS applies structured analytical methods to support consistent, examiner-guided evaluation of stress responses. The system does not rely on population norms or automated truth scoring, and it does not render conclusions or classifications independent of examiner judgment.
